Passivation is the chemical process used to restore the natural layer of amorphous oxides that protect treated metal surfaces from external damage.

The passivation stage is essential after stripping, so as to restore the natural protection of passivable metals (e.g., stainless steels, titanium, and aluminium) equipotentially :

• Electrochemichal qualification of the cleanliness achieved
• Anti-corrosion guarantees restored
• A final surface condition that complies with equipment usage constraints

The processes we apply in the workshop or at customer sites ensure full passivation of the parts and equipment handed over and allow them to be put into service safely.
